The Gathering/SoCal
. . . is a
Christian ministry designed to reach men for Jesus Christ and to
communicate Him in a meaningful and effective way so that lives are
changed. (Click on Mission for an overview of our
vision for Southern California.)
Our Mission is rooted in Philemon v. 6: "I
pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the
knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ's sake."
Our objectives are to (A) Add men to the Kingdom of God, (B)
Build men's ministry leadership in the church, and (C) Connect men
personally with Jesus Christ and disciple them in their journey of
faith.
The Gathering of Men is all about
outreach - evangelism in the marketplace - because we want to reach men
with the Gospel - the Good News! We want to help them grow in
their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, in partnership with
Churches throughout Southern California.
The Gathering of Men is all about
discipleship - men's ministry - because we are committed to The 4 Priorities for the purpose of providing education, training, and
support for the creation and on-going development of ministry to men.

community-wide outreach breakfasts, leadership training, Bible studies,
marketplace impact, family life enrichment, and community awareness,
